*Position: COBOL Developer *

*Location: St. Paul, MN*



*Est. start date: 8/3/2015 Est. end date: 8/2/2016 Length: One year*

*Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:*

· Provide development of and production maintenance support to the
MMIS.

· Work effectively with system architects and other analysts to
incorporate business owner’s visions, business plans, and key objectives in
MMIS solutions.

· Provide updates as required for MN.IT, MMIS and DHS leadership

· Foster a culture that supports and drives staff engagement and
collaboration in support of State objectives

· Establish, manage, and leverage business and technology
relationships both internal and external to the MMIS.

· Transfer knowledge to ***@DHS staff.



*Required Skills:*

· B.S or B.A degree (4 year) with 4 years’ experience in COBOL
Programming/Development or an Associate’s degree (2 year) with 6 years’
experience in COBOL Programming/Development or 8 years’ experience in COBOL
Programming/Development.

· Engagements equaling at least 18 months in a
Programming/Development role


*Desired Skills:*

· Computer Science or Information Technology degree

· Proven understanding of all aspects of the Software Development
Life Cycle (SDLC)

· Analytical skills and creation of program specifications

· Any experience with the health insurance programs and/or a state
Medicaid Management Information System

· Experience with:

· CICS

· VSAM

· DB2

· SQL

· InterTest Debugging Tool

· TSO/SPF

· PANVALET

· JCL
