Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or military
experience
• At least 1 year of professional work experience coding in data management
• At least 1 year of professional work experience coding in data
warehousing
• At least 1 year of professional work experience in unstructured data
environments

Preferred Qualifications:
• 2 plus years in-depth experience with the Hadoop stack (MapReduce, Pig,
Hive, Hbase)
• 2 plus years experience with NoSQL implementation (Cassandra a plus)
• 5 plus years experience developing Java based software solutions
• 5 plus years experience in at least one scripting language (Python, Perl,
JavaScript, Shell)
• 5 plus years experience developing software solutions to solve complex
business problems
• 5 plus years experience with Relational Database Systems and SQL
• 5 plus years experience designing, developing, and implementing ETL
• 5 plus years experience with UNIX/Linux including basic commands and
shell scripting
